Dizzy Dwarves isn’t the best looking game you’re going to find today, but it manages to create a pretty interesting fantasy-infused action experience with a few twists that’ll keep you, if not on your toes, at least on the balls of your feet.
You’re controlling a dwarf who’s running down a gloomy corridor trying to collect pieces of a stolen gem. There are boulders, spiders and all manner of other obstacles in your path, and hitting them turns you into a gory red smear.
You tap on the left and right of the screen to move, and there’s a button that lets you use a shield to stop you from taking damage. You can also pick up torches that light up the path ahead of you and give you a better chance of avoiding trouble.
There are potions that litter the floor as well. Pick these up and you get dizzy, switching the direction of the controls. Accidentally grab two and you’ll need to press twice to move.
Dizzy Dwarves is one of those games that offers up a decent amount of fun, but that doesn’t really do much to keep your attention for long periods of time. It’s decent, and it’s probably worth checking out, but don’t expect it to knock your socks off.
You can click here to download Dizzy Dwarves from the Play Store right this second. It’s free, with an IAP to get rid of the ads.
